The Teen Readers and Writers Group for people ages 13--18 will meet at the Oakland library on the first Monday of each month (except for February) from 5:00 until 7:30. Forget the chocolates and flowers, bring the kids to the Oakland Branch of the Ruth Enlow Library on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2013, for a FREE book in celebration of International Book Giving Day. Young patrons can visit anytime between 9:15 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. to select a book and bookmark, and share why they love reading with the new Children’s Specialist, Deb Spurrier.

You must be pre-registered to attend this program.
 
Students will be provided with books that they will read and discuss with the group.  They will also enjoy a craft, game, or activity and a snack based upon themes relevant to the particular book selected for the program.  If interested please contact Deb Spurrier at 301-334-3996 ext. 104.
