Children Services Branch: Oakland Meeting Room An hour of stories, crafts, and fun for preschoolers age 3-5, held each Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:30am, except in June and August. Teen Services Branch: Oakland Meeting Room The Teen Readers and Writers Group for people ages 13--18 will meet at the Oakland library on the first Monday of each month from 5:00 until 7:30. Young Readers' Book Club

Children Services Branch: Oakland Meeting Room
Young Readers Club is a book discussion group for readers age nine through twelve. The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month from September through November and January through May.
You must be pre-registered to attend this program.
Students will be provided with books that they will read and discuss with the group. They will also enjoy a craft, game, or activity and a snack based upon themes relevant to the particular book selected for the program. If interested please contact Deb Spurrier at 301-334-3996 ext. 104.

Kids' Book Club

Kids Book Club is a book discussion group for children ages six through eight. Programs are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month from September through November and January through May.
