Join us for a lecture by Chris Meister, author of “James Riely Gordon: His Courthouses and Other Public Architecture,” at the Oakland Library on Monday, July 2, at 6 p.m. The Garrett County Courthouse is among the courthouses featured in his large-format, 334-page book that contains 150 black-and-white and 54 color photos, along with a subject and location index. In addition to his lecture, Meister will sell and sign copies of his book at this event, which is free and open to the public. Books are $50 each, cash only.
