Start Time: 6:00 PM
End Time:7:30 PM

Description:There are many myths and stereotypes about the Gypsies, or Roma, as they are frequently called.  The presentation focuses on the evidence drawn from historians, linguists, and modern-day writers to paint a picture of how this multi-ethnic race of people, originating in India, evolved and moved, describing its culture and beliefs, conflicts with non-Gypsy peoples, and problems and prospects in today's world.
