Description: Join us for a lecture about the Bayeux Tapestry, which is a very old embroidery stitched over 900 years ago to commemorate the battle of Hastings.  Dolores Andrew, artist and designer, will share details about this embroidery, which she examined on a visit to the town of Bayeux.  She will share observations about the stitches, the central characters, and the 11th century world that created this 230 foot long masterpiece.
