Beginning Knitting Classes

The Ruth Enlow Library is offering beginning knitting classes for all ages on Thursdays for five weeks, from 3:30 – 5 p.m. at the Oakland Library. Class dates are October 26, November 2, 16, 30, and December 7. Class will not be held on Thanksgiving, November 23. All materials will be provided and the classes are free. Registration is mandatory for these free classes. To sign up, contact Susanne Kight at 301-334-3996 x0105 or skight@relib.net.

Edna Forsyth from Deep Creek Knitters will teach all classes. “Today, knitting is not only trending again, it’s more popular than it has ever been. So popular that men are jumping on the band wagon,” noted the members of Deep Creek Knitters.
